Deleting your account
Last updated 25 October 2026
This page explains how a parent, pupil or member of staff can have their ShuleOS login deleted, whether they use the website or the ShuleOS mobile app, and what is deleted and what the school keeps.
Who gives you a login
You cannot sign up to ShuleOS yourself. Your school creates your login, so the school is the first place to ask. The school can switch off or remove a login at any time.
How to ask
- Ask your school office. Tell them your name, your phone number or email, and, for a parent, your children's names. They can remove your login straight away.
- Or ask ShuleOS. Use the contact details on our Support page. Give your name, your school, and the phone number or email you sign in with. We will check the request with your school and delete the login within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your login: your username, password and any second sign-in step.
- Every phone you are signed in on, and their notification addresses, so the app signs out and notifications stop.
- The profile picture, contact details and settings you added yourself.
What the school keeps
School records are the school's, not the login's: a pupil's attendance, marks, report cards and fee payments, and a staff member's employment and payroll records, stay with the school, because it needs them and the law may require it. Records of who changed what, kept for security, stay for a limited time. To have school records corrected or deleted, ask the school; we will help it to answer. See our Privacy policy for more.
Just want to stop using the app?
Sign out in the app (More, then Sign out), or remove the app from your phone. Signing out deletes the sign-in key and the notification address for that phone. Your login stays, so you can still use the website.
